Kathy Tian

Kathy is a second year MBA student at the Ross School of Business, graduating in April 2017. Prior to Ross, she worked as an Account Advocate at ADP Cobalt, now CDK Global, and managing digital strategy for GM dealerships across the country. Prior to this, she served with three Detroit non-profits: City Year Detroit, tutoring and mentoring at-risk students with a focus on drop-out prevention tactics; Challenge Detroit, providing creative solutions to challenges faced by non-profits in metro Detroit; and Cornerstone Charter Schools, developing marketing strategies and programming to bolster parent, school, and student communications. Over the summer, she interned at BCG's Detroit office and plans to return after graduation.

At Ross, Kathy is co-president of the Detroit Revitalization and Business Initiative and serves as the Deal Sourcing Lead for ZLCF. Throughout her work and volunteer experiences, she has been committed to building and growing strong stakeholder relationships, and she hopes to bring this passion to the fund.
